Common questions

A reminder fired later than the exact minute

Detecting a wake-up typically takes 5–15 minutes. Steps scheduled 30+ minutes after waking still fire exactly on time, because the wake moment is computed retroactively to the minute. For the fastest detection keep the SinceWake complication on your active watch face. You can always tap “I'm awake” on the watch or phone.

Do I have to wear the watch at night?

For automatic detection — yes, with sleep tracking on. If you charge your watch overnight, use the “I'm awake” button in the morning; your chain still runs from that moment.

Is my sleep or health data uploaded anywhere?

No. SinceWake has no server, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. Sleep and motion data are read on your devices and never leave them. See the privacy policy.

I'm testing the beta — how do I send the detection log?

On the iPhone open Settings → Diagnostics, then tap the share button. The log contains only wake times, detection sources and latencies — no personal data.
